A truly, local Lager needed a truly, local name. Geelong was once called Pivot City because Geelong was the pivot point for all railway and shipping for Ballarat and the western district.

Brewed on the Surf Coast
In the surf coast town of Torquay, 500 metres from the beach – we get to brew beer. For 12 years we have called Bell Street home, and since then we have created a space for you to come and taste some awesome beer and catch up with friends and family.

At Blackman’s brewery our philosophy is this: we love good beer, it’s really that simple. We make our beers with the best quality ingredients we can get our hands on and we give our beers the right amount of time in tank, we don’t rush them through to meet deadlines.
